As Director of Learning and Innovation for Centennial School District our team created a video in 2017 highlighting the authentic learning opportunities happening in our schools, and the amazing work of our staff and students. This work led to schools from all around the country (and world) visiting our schools and seeing how we were innovating with purpose.
Next Gen Schools is taking this same belief: That highlighting what is working in schools right now, and sharing it widely, is a key to better learning experiences

Our goal is to help schools and educators thrive in a changing world.
Challenging
The work of teaching, learning, and leading can be challenging on so many fronts. We set out to identify those obstacles and tackle them head-on through research, practice, and collaboration.
Rewarding
At the same time, it can be the most rewarding work. When our learners are engaged, and our colleagues are motivated, there is nothing like it. We aim to highlight the rewards as well!
Purposeful
Ultimately, the work is purposeful and needed. An educator’s impact is real and is felt both personally and across generations. We focus on empowerment as the highest calling and purpose of what we all do.
